もうすぐクリスマス／ The Christmas season has come in Milan.
この頃、イタリアは大丈夫？ というメールをよくいただきます。
でも、近所のマーケットはいつもどおりの活気です。
昨夜は友人の展覧会に行く道すがらドゥオーモ広場を通りました。
クリスマスプレゼントを買い求める人たちが広場を行き交います。
１２月に入って、恒例の電飾も街を飾りはじめました。
１２月１０日に日本に帰ります。
I recently get e-mail from my friends who are concerned about the economic crisis in Italy. But the nearby market is crowded as usual. I stopped by Duomo on the way to see an exhibition of my friend last night. Lots of people flocked to the downtown to look for Christmas presents. The plaza was brightly illuminated as always in every December. As I see it, there are no signs of a downfall in the economy. I come back to Japan on December 10th.
