『漢字で遊ぼう』／ ”Let us play with the ideograms”
１３日に『漢字で遊ぼう』というワークショップを開催しました。
対象は６歳から１０歳までの子どもたち。
Laboratory of Japanese calligraphy for children from 6 to 10 years old was held on November 13th.
最初にいくつかの漢字を紹介した後、墨を使って思い思いに筆をふるいます。
漢字もさることながら、墨がじわじわと紙へとにじんでいく感覚は初体験です。
After the introduction they began to dip a brush in the ink and write ideograms. It is their first experience not only to write Japanese characters but also to see ink spreads gradually on paper.
画面の中にびっしりと書き込む子どもが多いのに気がつきました。
この子も「月」と「日」で画面をいっぱいに。ついでに星も。
I have found they prefer to fill a space with a lot of characters.
He filled a space with character for Moon and Sun.
この子は漢字好き。自分が知っている漢字をいきなり書き出しました。
それでも足りずに筆の軸に書いてある文字を見ながら模写を始めました。
He has some knowledge of Japanese characters. Then he began to write another, copying characters written on the holder of a brush.
月 日 星 木 水。しっかり画面構成をしています。
Ideograms for Moon, Sun, Star, Tree and Water are well composed in the space.
この後観客を前に、子どものパフォーマンス『子どもたちのワンダーランド』がはじまりました。
After the laboratory they participated in “Small Wonders”, the performance of dance, music and calligraphy with children.
